Garden Spells is a gentle read involving a family split apart by a self-centered mother and the story is how the sisters came to terms with past hurts and rebuild a family. Magic is woven throughout the story, including an opinionated apple tree.
Seven people were at the book discussion - most people enjoyed this book stating that it was a light read, a fast read and the characters were well drawn and developed throughout the book.
